Hi! My name is Natalia and I’m really excited to get to know you and support your learning journey! I am originally from Romania, where I completed a pedagogical high school, and I’m currently studying International Teacher Education for Primary Schools (ITEPS) here in the Netherlands. As you can probably tell, education is a real passion of mine — I believe it is both a science and an art. When we work together, I like to focus on a practical, personalized approach. I always begin with a short evaluation to understand where the student currently stands, and then we create a realistic, goal-based plan together (with the student and the parents). Whether the goal is to pass an exam or build confidence in a subject, I make sure the process fits the child’s rhythm, personality, and potential. I’m a very open and sociable person. I value honest, light-hearted communication and love using active learning methods and creativity in my sessions. Outside of tutoring, I’m also a performing artist — I’ve been part of various musicals and theatre productions, and I love bringing a bit of that playful, expressive energy into how I connect with students.
I like to tutor because I truly enjoy the process of helping students grow — not just academically, most of all in confidence and self-understanding. I believe the most valuable aspect a good teacher can bring is that of leading the student to be independent and to build trust in figuring out his/her own ways of reaching the right answer. I already have experience with children and teenagers in various educational settings, and I find real joy in seeing that “aha!” moment when a student is proud of understanding something new.
