Hello! My name is Mia, and I’m currently a first-year bachelor’s student at Maastricht University. I’m originally from South Africa and completed my high school education with the IEB National Senior Certificate, which is similar to the Dutch athenaeum level. I really enjoy helping people improve their English, whether it’s for school, exams, or just everyday conversation. I like to make lessons fun and tailored to what you need most. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, and learning new languages. I believe learning should be enjoyable, and together we’ll work on building your confidence in English! I would love to give tutoring because I really enjoy helping students understand new concepts and improve their skills, especially in English. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and support others in reaching their goals, which I find very rewarding. Although I am still gaining experience, I am patient, enthusiastic, and committed to making lessons enjoyable and effective. Being a university student myself, I understand the challenges learners face and can relate well to students. I believe this makes me a suitable and motivated tutor.
